On March 7, the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineering (ASHRAE) Nebraska Chapters are sponsoring first one day Expo and Technical Conference for professionals involved in the building industry. Our goal is to make it yearly event. With this event we would like to present opportunity to engineers, architects, contractors, building management and other professionals involved in the building industry to learn about new technologies, applications and methodologies used in design, constructions, and building operations.
Topics of interest to our audience cover a wide range of topics divided in tracks. Presentation may focus on technical, applications, or energy efficient buildings and technologies.
The advantages of being part of our event are many and may include: personal recognition, increased awareness of your company, and membership in the distinguished and noted group of past speakers/panelists on the AEI/ASHRAE event archives.
We are still accepting speaker applications. There are still openings in the different tracks. Thank you for considering to present at our event.
Proposal Guidelines & Tips:
v Identify your anticipated audience(s) and level of expertise or development
v Provide a compelling title
v Provide short abstract describing the objectives of the topic
v Select applicable track
v Presentation shall be 45 minutes long with 10-15 minutes for questions/discussion
v Expenses such as travel and logging are covered by the event organizer; Speaker expense donation by your organization is welcomed
v Presentation shall be focused on a new technology, application, energy efficient operation, i.e. a curriculum;
v 15 people per session
v A LCD projector on a cart, screen, podium and microphone will be provided in each room. NOTE: Computers/laptops and handouts will NOT be provided. Presenters who need a computer/laptop MUST make their own arrangements. Presenters can bring their own handouts. We will post available handout and presentation materials on the conference website for participant download, prior to the event.
Note: If you’re abstract is selected for the conference, you will be contacted via e-mail with additional information for travel and hotel arrangements, as well as a contract agreement.
